A Note from The President

Our scholarship fund which began in 2008 honors the memories of my father Edward Yarock and my step father Dr. Edward Weiner. Both men were kind hearted and empathetic and inspirational to the people that came in contact with them and subscribed to the adage "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for Life."

Our goal is to expand the fund in order to assist as many students as possible. The future of the harness industry is dependent on young, educated people becoming a part of it and we hope to play an integral role by providing this financial assistance.

We have recently added a special award in Memory of my father-in-law who passed away in June 2009. This will be called the Donald Meyer Memorial Scholarship Fund.

I would like to thank all my fellow committee members and all the contributors to this cause.
